Owner/Artistic Director

Stephanie Morris graduated from Dean College with high honors and  a BA in Dance. While at Dean, Stephanie was a three-term President of the college Dance Team and a member of the college dance company. Stephanie is also a proud member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 5.


Stephanie studied with Sandi Duncan and Denise Jordan at Dance Productions, where she was a member of their competitive dance team. Prior to her studies at Dance Productions, she dedicated ten years studying at the Donna Miceli Dance Center, where she was a member of the Kidsdance Co. I, II and a member of the Youth Dance Company. As a member of these companies, she performed at Disney World, on the WBZ Children's Hospital Telethon, the WBZ KidsFair, participated in Company Dance with Paula Abdul, and at many local homecomings and fairs. Stephanie has also the pleasure of training with some of the top teachers and choreographers in the dance world including Roseann Ridings, Nailah Bellinger, Adrienne Hawkins, Eva Von Gencsy, J.T Jenkins, Frank Hatchett, Joe Lanteri, and Sandi Duncan.

Stephanie has been teaching and working with small children, teens and adults for over 10 years. She teaches creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical. Her work and choreography won the 2009 and 2015 American Dance Awards Diamond Choreographers Award.  In addition in 2011 she was presented with The Dance Xplosion Entertainment Award, the Xcalibur award and in 2013 the Elite Dance Challenge Best Choreography Award. In addition to her work at Creative Arts Dance Academy, Stephanie has taught at the Braintree Academy of Dance, Northern Essex Community College, Mary OBrien School of Dance, and Donna Miceli's Dance Center.  Stephanie also does private lessons and competition choreography throughout Massachusetts.

Stacey McDonald

Assistant Director

 

Stacey began her dance career at the age of three studying at Donna Miceli Dance Center, where she was a member of Kid Co, I and Kid Co, II.  She continued her dance studies under the direction of Denise Jordan and Sandi Duncan at Dance Productions, where she was a member of the competitive dance team.  While studying at Dance Productions Stacey performed with the team at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, and danced with pop star Paula Abdul.  Stacey is a multiple scholarship winner at West Cost Dance Explosion. Stacey has also brought her dance choreography to cheerleading while she was coaching Pop Warner for 3 years.  

 

While studying business management at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne Stacey continued her love of dance while teaching kinderdance at local studies.  Stacey has also worked at On Your Toes Dancewear, where she learned to fit each dance shoe and dance brand professionally. She has continues her dance education while taking several adult dance classes.

Elizabeth Oliveira

Elizabeth started dancing at the age of 3 with the Lisa Liston School of Dance in Everett, MA. As a student Elizabeth competed in many prestigious competitions across New England, including ADA, Terpsichore, Dance Ovations and Dance America. In addition to performing and competing, Elizabeth also maintained her training with master classes and conventions throughout Massachusetts. Elizabeth was formerly trained in Vaganova and Checcetti ballet techniques while attending LLSOD as well as during college. During her 4 years as a Dance Major at Dean College, Elizabeth became the House Manager for all dance and theater productions. Elizabeth served as the Co-director of the Dean College Dance Team 2001-2003. She has trained with Master Instructors such as Nailah Bellinger, Jill Silverman, Adrianne Hawkins, J.T. Jenkins and Jeffrey Polston. Elizabeth has taken master classes with the Alvin
Ailey Dance Company and studied partnering with the Pilobolous II Dance Company. In her spare time, Elizabeth can be found hanging out with husband and her 3 sons. Elizabeth enjoys teaching tap, jazz, ballet, Pointe, modern and lyrical dance for the beginner through advanced levels for ages 3 to adult.

Lynn Vasseur

Lynn has trained in dance for over 20 years and has been sharing her passion by teaching various styles for over 12 years at different studios throughout New England. She is proud alumni of  Dean College in Franklin,  MA, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009. Among training in many dance styles she has also extensively studied kinesiology,  pedagogy, and anatomy and physiology. Her teaching career began while attending college and Lynn loves to also teach master classes throughout New England.  Lynn is an award-winning choreographer at the regional and national levels.  She is thrilled to share her knowledge and love of movement with her students.

Jessy Wong

Jessy is a The Dancing School alum who has joined the CADA teaching staff. She has also competed with East Elite, attended many area dance conventions, and studied dance at Middlesex College and UMass Lowell. Jessy was also a member of the Boston Cannons and Lowel Spinners dance teams.  She is an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher and has taken several classes and courses in acro.  In addition to acro, Jessy specializes in ballet, pointe, and lyrical and loves seeing her students' excitement when they gain a new skill.  When she's not busy with her toddler and infant sons, Jessy is our resident queen of crafting! 

Courtney O'Brien~Driscoll

A dance instructor in the Somerville area for more than 15 years, Courtney has led her students to receive numerous high scoring and overall awards in regional and national championships. She has also won multiple awards for her choreography.

Nikita Rao

Nikita Rao a Bollywood dance Choreographer,” she is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Nikita's Bollywood Dance Academy in New England area , her passion and desire to open her own dance school,started 10 years ago and today it is a well-established Dance School based in different parts of New England area, with a aim to show just how diverse Bollywood is as a dance style and how it is constantly evolving and reinventing itself by crossing cultural boundaries

Nikita's unique dance style and choreography fuses a diverse repertoire including Indian classical styles, such as Kathak, Bharata Natyam, Bhangra, and Folk; and, western staples including Hip-hop, Contemporary, and Jazz.

The classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate to advanced dancers for their age, and is a GREAT way for dancers to enhance their technique , dance skills and keep their bodies in shape.
