Creative Arts Dance Academy offers a team of experienced and caring instructors, committed to instilling an appreciation for the art of dance. 

STEPHANIE MORRIS

Stephanie Morris graduated from Dean College with high honors and a BA in Dance. While at Dean, Stephanie was a three-term President of the college Dance Team and a member of the college dance company. Stephanie is also a proud member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 5.


Stephanie studied with Sandi Duncan and Denise Jordan at Dance Productions, where she was a member of their competitive dance team. Prior to her studies at Dance Productions, she dedicated ten years studying at the Donna Miceli Dance Center, where she was a member of the Kidsdance Co. I, II and a member of the Youth Dance Company. As a member of these companies, she performed at Disney World, on the WBZ Children's Hospital Telethon, the WBZ KidsFair, participated in Company Dance with Paula Abdul, and at many local homecomings and fairs. Stephanie has also the pleasure of training with some of the top teachers and choreographers in the dance world including Roseann Ridings, Nailah Bellinger, Adrienne Hawkins, Eva Von Gencsy, J.T Jenkins, Frank Hatchett, Joe Lanteri, and Sandi Duncan.

Stephanie has been teaching and working with small children, teens, and adults for over 10 years. She teaches creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical. Her work and choreography won the 2009 and 2015 American Dance Awards Diamond Choreographers Award.  In addition in 2011, she was presented with The Dance Xplosion Entertainment Award, the Xcalibur award, and in 2013 the Elite Dance Challenge Best Choreography Award. In addition to her work at Creative Arts Dance Academy, Stephanie has taught at the Braintree Academy of Dance, Northern Essex Community College, Mary OBrien School of Dance, and Donna Miceli's Dance Center.  Stephanie also does private lessons and competition choreography throughout Massachusetts.

| ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Stacey began her dance career at the age of three studying at Donna Miceli Dance Center, where she was a member of Kid Co, I and Kid Co, II.  She continued her dance studies under the direction of Denise Jordan and Sandi Duncan at Dance Productions, where she was a member of the competitive dance team.  While studying at Dance Productions Stacey performed with the team at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, and danced with pop star Paula Abdul.  Stacey is a multiple scholarship winner at West Cost Dance Explosion. Stacey has also brought her dance choreography to cheerleading while she was coaching Pop Warner for 3 years.  

 

While studying business management at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne Stacey continued her love of dance while teaching kinderdance at local studies.  Stacey has also worked at On Your Toes Dancewear, where she learned to fit each dance shoe and dance brand professionally. She has continued her dance education by taking several adult dance classes.
