DANCE WITH ME 

This program provides a bonding experience for the parent and child. With a caregiver close by, students will engage in hands-on movement activities essential to proper development in coordination. Music and movement will stimulate the senses. Songs and dances involving simple directions encourage language. The students build self-confidence as they learn to make friends and relate to the teacher. Parents love this opportunity to be a part of their child's dance education. This class does not perform in our annual recital.

CREATE & DANCE 

Learn all about dance, music, and art all in one class! Dancers will develop motor skills while moving their bodies to the music. They will also have a chance to create something to bring home and share with the family. Basic Ballet and Tap will be incorporated into this fun class. This class will perform one dance in our annual recital.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT 

This class encourages students to enhance their coordination, balance, and locomotive skills through music, props, and imagination. Dancers will begin to delve into concepts like rhythm, energy, and storytelling through movement while learning to collaborate with a group. Basic Ballet and Tap will be incorporated into this fun class. This class will perform one dance in our annual recital.

INTRO 

This class introduces the young dancer to the basics of the ballet barre, center work, and across-the-floor combinations. Basic tap steps are continued from Creative Movement and the basics of jazz dance are introduced. This class will perform two dances in our annual recital.

This class allows students to build upon their ballet, tap, and jazz foundations in a concentrated capacity. Dancers focus on placement and terminology through the lens of creative expression. This class will perform two dances in our annual recital.
